Thomas Wilzbacher, known to many as Tom Katt, is a beloved founder of The Original Rowdy Cowboy Show, The Hoggsbreath Bar & Grill and long time MC of We Fest. Tom has always been a vibrant part of our community, bringing people together through music, laughter, and unforgettable events. As a friend, I’ve seen firsthand how much Tom has given to others, and now it’s our turn to support him.Last year, Tom was diagnosed with throat cancer and has recently begun treatment to fight this harsh and painful disease. He is undergoing weekly radiation treatments, regular visits for fluids due to dehydration, and has recently had a feeding tube placed. These medical challenges have taken a toll on Tom, both physically and emotionally. Despite everything, Tom continues to show incredible strength and determination as he faces this long battle.
Funds raised through this campaign will help offset Tom’s medical bills, living expenses, and any other medical needs that may arise in the future. We are also in the early stages of organizing a benefit for Tom at The Hoggsbreath Bar & Grill on Sunday, June 28th, from 1pm-5pm, to help boost his morale and support his fight against this disease. Donations for a silent auction and raffle will be accepted at The Hoggsbreath, but until then, please consider helping Tom’s family by donating here.
