Tom Holliston was in a band called NoMeansNo for about 20 years. Suddenly, was not in the band any more, owing to retirements. So be it. (Tom) did not retire, and continues to play and tour and is hopeful that some live recordings might fall into his hands. The last time Tom was in Lethbridge he showed up at the bar, and none of the staff knew anything about it. The show did not happen. He drove back to a small hotel in a town that starts with the letter C. He was in bad shape mentally, but has since recovered from that legally binding union; long-since ended in a life-reshaping divorce. But many, many have passed since then, and some spent with Simon Wells - a direct relative of Bombardier Billy Wells, the Commonwealth Heavyweight champ.
Simon Wells was a founder / guitarist with a wonderful English Rock and Roll band called Snuff. Fat Mike, no less, of NoFx has said "Snuff was his favorite all time band,and I like Simon's solo stuff a lot". Direct quote. He also has played in Southport, a mod punk band from the UK, and issued many fine recordings. NME reviewers awarded his most recent release ' Blankets' a 4 star review. Simon lives in Hailsham, UK.. A town famed for the fine quality of its hangman's rope. True.
