We are looking for vendors! Apply at no cost to participate in the Galt Museum & Southern Alberta Ethnic Associations first ever Indigenous Food & Wellness Expo on September 26, 2024!This free event is open to everyone and showcases an array of Indigenous artisans, chefs, vendors, caterers, wellness organizations, and coaches. Discover the importance of Indigenous food sovereignty while enjoying a variety of foods for purchase, sampling, sharing, and learning. The day is set to be a celebration of culture, taste, and knowledge, highlighting the importance of Indigenous culinary traditions and wellness practices. A special highlight of the expo is a lecture by Mariah Gladstone of Indigikitchen on Indigenous foods and foodways from 6:30–7:30 PM.
Join us for festivities dedicated to celebrating, eating, enjoying, and educating Sik Ooh Kotok on the vital role of Indigenous food and wellness. Funded by Celebrate Canada.
