Tom Cunliffe writes folk songs like short films; vivid, offbeat, and full of heart. Based in Aotearoa, New Zealand, he crafts lyrical worlds, with a guitar tuned sideways and a voice that balances gravity with joy. “An artist hitting his stride,” (Graham Reid), Cunliffe has released three critically acclaimed albums over the past decade and played to sold out crowds around the country. Frances Ellen will open the evening. Originally from Christchurch, Frances is known for her soul‑stirring indie‑folk and alt‑pop sound. Her music combines rich melodies, honest lyricism, and an emotional depth that resonates deeply with listeners.
