What to expect

Join the American Red Cross and the City of Tolleson for a realistic shelter simulation and a community resource showcase. This event helps residents understand what happens during an emergency, learn practical preparedness tips, and connect with trusted local partners. Residents are welcome to participate in the simulation experience, explore resources at their own pace, and take part in family friendly preparedness activities.

Lunch will be served from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM for registered guests and volunteers while supplies last. Capacity is limited.

9:00 AM: Opening ceremony

9:00 AM to 1:00 PM: Shelter simulation

9:00 AM to 2:00 PM: Resource showcase

12:00 PM to 1:00 PM: Lunch served for registered guests and volunteers (maximum 150)

1:00 PM to 1:30 PM: Volunteer recognition

2:00 PM: Event Conclusion
