Spooky Fun Returns as Tokyo Disneyland Celebrates Halloween Extravaganza! Tokyo Disney Resort has announced that Disney Halloween will return this year offering guests Halloween-themed decorations entertainment attraction overlays a TONNE of merchandise and food and beverage offerings!
The daytime Spooky Boo parade features floats decked out in cobwebs and pumpkins steered by characters dressed in ghost costumes.
There are key points to remember regarding Halloween at Tokyo Disney Resort compared to other Disney Parks:
- Unlike Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party there is no hard-ticketed party at Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea
- Halloween decorations food merchandise and entertainment are available every day during the event
- All the entertainment and decorations are included in your park ticket
- You’re allowed to wear Disney-themed Halloween costumes at both parks during the event (see costume section for details)
- Decorations start going up as soon as the Summer event ends and are gone once the event ends
- Food and merchandise are available a week before the event begins and until the event ends
- Once the event ends all the food and merchandise are no longer available (try Nakano Broadway for used goods)
Decorations
Halloween at Tokyo Disneyland will feature spooky decorations to immerse guests in the spooky season. Towards the front of the park the entrance will feature a Halloween livery while World Bazaar will feature a Mickey pumpkin photo spot. The main hub area will also feature happy haunts having fun while Toontown will also feature pumpkin and ghost-themed decor.
This year’s Halloween decorations will be combined with the Tokyo Disney Resort 40th Anniversary decor and will include Halloween-themed Dream Garlands.
Entertainment
The popular “Spooky Boo!” parade will be presented daily during the Halloween event and unlike last year this year’s parade will feature dancers and two parade stops! The parade features six floats inspired by various attractions and themed lands with a spooky twist. The parade will start in Fantasyland then stop in the Plaza and again in the Tomorrowland and Toontown area of the parade route.
Attractions
Halloween sees the return of the popular Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare overlay based on the movie
“Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas”. The Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare overlay runs from Thursday September 14 2024 to Monday January 8 2025.
The Haunted Mansion Holiday is a limited-time “Nightmare Before Christmas” overlay. From September through the first few days of January.
Merchandise
This year’s Halloween festivities will feature THREE merchandise lines with over 80 spooky offerings! Guests can choose from the classic Mickey and Friends line a retro Memory-Go-Round line featuring designs from Halloween’s past and a happy ghost collection.
