Would you like to take a nature walk through the centor of Tokyo while watching birds?Tokyo has many places where Japanese and East Asian birds can be observed, however, there was no tour available to foreigners. We have decided to organize a monitoring tour for foreign residents in Japan to enjoy birdwatching in central Tokyo.
【Programme content】
Walking & Bird Watching
With a professional English-speaking guide, you can walk through the Imperial Garden while listening to the songs of wild birds. We start from Kudanshita station at 9 am and will take a 90 min walk through the garden.
【Tour Price】
This is a monitor tour with special price (2,000 JPY)
【Conditions to participate】
・ Foreigners living in Japan
・ Those who can speak English or Japanese
・ Those who can send out their impressions of the tour on SNS and/or blog after participating in the monitoring tour.
・ Those who are willing to fill out a short questionnaire.

Oct 26th (Sat), 9 am-10:30am
at Takebashi Station (Tozai-Line, Tokyo Metro) Exit 1a
【Details of the tour and what to bring】
1) This tour is a monitor tour of paid bird-watching tours to be held during the winter season for foreign visitors.
Please fill out the questionnaire after participating in this tour.
2) Please bring binoculars if you have them. However, do not hesitate even if you don’t have them, as the guide will bring a telescope.
3) Bring your own drinks, and any other items you need such as sunscreen, umbrellas (in case of light rain), or snacks.
4) In case of rain, the event may be cancelled. You will be notified the day before.
5) There will be an optional tea time after the tour nearby. (fee is not included)
【Birds you may see】
In the garden there are bushes, shrubs, lawns, and ponds, that provide a wide variety of birds.
Some birds such as the Japanese Tit and the Japanese Pygmy Woodpecker are familiar in Japan but are endemic species of the East Asia.
You may see many ducks as they overwinter in the Imperial Palace.【Tour Price】
