TOI WāHine Symposium 2026 - Registrations OpenHe Moko Puna: A Sacred Puna for Reflection, Intuition and Remembering
A wānanga-style symposium for practitioners and kaimahi to pause, realign, and deepen their practice. Guided by the journey of Hinetītama and our companion journal He Moko Puna.
Included is Tū Te Rā, celebrating the abundant harvest of this season, and explores concepts, rituals, and stories of ancient Māori warfare and peace in a feast of culture and cuisine
“Ko te puna aroha, ko te puna kōrero, ko te puna oranga - he puna e kore e mimiti.”
📅 27 - 28 March 2026 (confirmed)
📍 Te Pā Tū, Rotorua
We’re honoured to confirm that this year’s symposium will include 20 sponsored spaces for nannies and kuia who are raising their mokopuna. This reflects our commitment to uplift those carrying the weight of care in our communities and to ensure our puna remains accessible and grounded in manaakitanga.
These spaces are gifted through the support of our practitioners and organisations attending the symposium
