About this Event
TWA's first habitat improvement project will have (at least) two phases. On April 11, we'll learn how to identify and remove the site's most problematic invasive plant species. Later this spring, we'll plant beneficial natives to take up the space we've cleared.
If you have them, bring your own pruners, loppers, gloves, and eye protection. We'll bring extras to lend. Dress for work in the woods with plentiful prickers and thorns. Don't forget your water bottle!
Lake Towhee Park is a county owned property, volunteers are required to sign a waiver assuming personal safety and financial responsibility for our work.
