About this Event
The 16 days of activism against gender-based violence is a global campaign set up in 1991 calling for the elimination of all forms of violence against women. The campaign takes place annually between 25th November - 10th December. Every year, the Dundee Violence Against Women Partnership (DVAWP) works closely together to deliver a number of awareness raising events as part of this campaign. This year our theme is ‘Imagine if Dundee said No More’ and we are inviting people to make a stand with us against these forms of violence. The finale event aims to bring strong messages of hope and strength around these issues through creative performances and arts.
We are not charging for tickets for this event but would ask that people consider donating to one of our amazing specialist women's charities instead. Links below to donate to Dundee Women's Aid or the Women's Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (Dundee and Angus):
