We will be hosting a special fundraising night in support of Tia, a young local mother who has recently been diagnosed with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour, an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer. In the UK, only around 12 people are diagnosed with this illness each year.Tia received this devastating news shortly after welcoming her beautiful baby, Bobin, late last year. Heartbreakingly, the cancer she has been diagnosed with is incurable.
This event has been organised to bring the community together and support Tia and her family during this incredibly difficult time. All money raised will go towards alternative treatment options and helping ease some of the pressures on Tia so she can focus on her health and spending precious time with her baby.
Tickets for the event will act as a donation, with all proceeds going directly towards supporting Tia and her family.
