These ToGather monthly meetings aim to encourage and empower those touched by cancer and their caregivers to share their experience, find ease in community, be heard and valued, find comfort, build lasting connections.
ToGather meetings are obligation and judgment free.
Inner strengths might come from the collective support that cancer touched might not have on their own.
ToGather is a welcoming environment for all cultures and mother tongues. English serves as a common language facilitating the focus on the common health challenge to navigate.
It is a space where people can share their experiences, knowledge, and emotions related to cancer. This sharing can be therapeutic and informative for group members.
Cancer is a serious matter, however finding joy and positivity together to boost our immune system and feel better is key.
Some meetings may have a theme to facilitate collective learning and sharing.
Suggestion for this meeting is the Theme of Mind - Body connection.
