About this Event
This gentle class is designed for toddlers ages 2–3 to explore clay through purposeful, hands-on discovery.
At this stage of development, children learn through touch, repetition, and movement. Clay offers a rich sensory experience — strengthening fine motor skills, encouraging concentration, and supporting independence through open-ended exploration.
During class, toddlers will:
• Practice rolling, pressing, and flattening
• Explore natural textures and imprinting
• Create simple hand-formed shapes
• Make one small keepsake piece to be kiln-fired and glazed
There is no expectation of perfection or outcome. The focus is process over product — allowing each child to engage at their own pace while feeling supported and capable.
A caregiver must remain present to guide and assist their child as needed. This is a shared experience rooted in observation, patience, and connection.
-Small class size for a calm, prepared environment
-Non-toxic, child-safe materials
-Finished pieces ready in 2–3 weeks
Ticket is per child. Adults do not need a ticket.
