EMILY MOLLOY BIO

An eccentric mix of soul, modern rock n' roll, blistering blues and a nihilistic dose of grunge and punk rock, Emily Molloy has been able to pursue her passions and craft her sound to carve out her own unique place within the Canadian music scene.

Emily's voice would be at home in the smoky basements of a Chicago cabaret or down the graffiti and rain soaked back alleys of Seattle. Her debut 2021 EP release of "Catastrophes" was recorded live off the floor at The Warehouse Studios by Eric Mosher, giving a well rounded sample of her sound.

Emily is a staple of the Vancouver music scene, with an all-star cast of some of Canada's best musicians behind her. She has collaborated with both Canadian and International artists as Five Alarm Funk, Fort Knox Five, Omegaman, Thievery Corporation, Bad Magic, Gnarfunkel, Brass Camel, Buckman Coe, History of Gunpowder, Lemming Dynasty, and the iconic Bisonette Brothers (Elton John, Ringo Starr, David Lee Roth, Spinal Tap).

She recently introduced her trip hop project, "DUOTONE" with Gord Shields of Pocket Dwellers, as well as a new disco funk project called "The Fever '' with heavy weights DJ Neighbour and Joses - with more collaborations to come in the new year.

Her 7 piece all star live band brings to life her own versatile soundscape!

As her career grows, the need for an introduction dissipates.

CARA BATEMAN BIO

Cara Bateman Bio

Cara Bateman is a risk taker. With songs like ‘Make Out With My Ex’ and ‘Joe Rogan Broke Up My Relationship,’ it is clear that she is not in the business of playing it safe. Growing up in a working class suburb, she spent much of her childhood and adolescence doing just that. Now in her thirties and working toward the creative life of her dreams, she has spent the last few years unlearning aspects of her upbringing that no longer serve her while simultaneously discovering what truly feels important to her own beliefs. All of this is reflected in her current writings which have become heavier, edgier, and bolder than the last.

Her upcoming debut album “Daddy Issues” contains elements of grunge, rock and roll, and punk. At the end of the day, though, Cara will always be a vocalist’s vocalist — and she continues to feature her soothing, soulful, and powerful voice at the forefront of the latest soundscapes. Is R&B Grunge a genre? Cara is doing her best to create it. ‘Time To Be A Bitch’ — the first single off of “Daddy Issues” is out now. Stream it wherever you listen to music.

Cara has toured with and shared the stage with the likes of Dashboard Confessional, The Elwins, Mauvey, and Juno-Award Winners Dizzy. She has been a featured artist at such festivals as Canadian Music Week, The TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Tiny Lights, Song & Surf, Khatsahlano, and Sunfest Country Music Festival.
