Todd East has built an impressive career in the music industry, earning widespread recognition for his exceptional talent. Blind since birth, he discovered his passion for music early, playing piano and singing by the age of three. By 15, he had already launched his professional career. A native of Marion, NY, Todd pursued his education at Nazareth College, earning degrees in Music Education and Music Theory.A true master of the piano with a vocal style reminiscent of Stevie Wonder, Todd is a highly sought-after performer. For over 40 years, he has captivated audiences in Rochester, NY, where he has developed a devoted fan base. Now residing in North Miami, Oklahoma, he frequently returns to Rochester to perform and record, remaining a cherished part of the local music scene.
Todd's extensive credits include commercial work for television and radio, as well as regular performances at Hard Rock Cafés and casinos across the Midwest. He has shared the stage with world-renowned conductor Jeff Tyzik, performing with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Seattle Symphony Orchestra.
His career has taken him to prestigious venues such as Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut and the Lionel Hampton Jazz Club in Paris, France, where he performed with Prime Time Funk. Todd has also played alongside legendary artists, including The Brothers Johnson, Chubby Checker, Dave Koz, C.J.Chenier and The Red Hot Louisiana Band, Joe Sample, Larry Carlton, and blues musician Sherman Robertson.
