Tobacco Week of Action- Blue Zones Project Riverside Volunteer Opportunity

Join us for our Tobacco Week of Action or Tobacco Day of Action! We have two opportunities for you to get involved—participate during the week on your own time or join us on the weekend for a community clean-up.

OPTION 1
Tobacco Week of Action (Self-Led Clean-Up) 3/16-3/27

Starting Monday, March 16, stop by the Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful office between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM to pick up your Tobacco Clean-Up Kit (one per participant).

Then gather some friends, family, or neighbors and host a tobacco litter clean-up in your community. Return your collected tobacco waste to the Keeping Riverside Clean and Beautiful office between March 23–27 and receive a Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful t-shirt, Blue Zones water bottle, and sticker as a thank-you!

Be sure to tag us on social media @bzpriverside and @keepriversidecleanandbeautiful, with a photo of your clean-up for a chance to win a $20 gift card to the Riverside Airport Café.

OPTION 2
Tobacco Day of Action (Community Clean-Up) 3/28

Prefer to clean up with a group? Join the Blue Zones Project Riverside team on March 28 at 10:30 AM at Bobby Bonds Park (2060 University Ave., Riverside, CA 92507) to help remove tobacco waste along University Avenue.

Earn volunteer hours, learn about the environmental impact of tobacco waste, and help us keep Riverside clean and beautiful—together.
