This workshop will take over a normal Toastmasters meeting. We'll teach a couple “joke theory” basics and do a round of improvements. Open to comics and non-comics. We can all learn to be funnier.
We'll go from brainstorm to punchline in 90 minutes.
If you are annoyed by something (anything!), you are eligible to participate. lol
Bring an idea—something you’re angry or curious about—and we’ll start shaping it into a bit. If you don’t have any ideas ready, I’ll bring the Official Topic Can. We start with some brainstorming, we write, we give feedback, and then, if time allows, we go up on the mic!
Very beginner friendly, but every comic benefits from writing time!
