Keep Showing Up!When I first learned to swim last year, I threw myself in with passion — even 5:30 a.m. winter mornings couldn’t stop me. But this year, the excitement faded. I often struggle just to go, though I am still going!
And yet, each time I do, I leave the pool feeling a bit stronger, prouder, and grateful I didn’t give up.
Public speaking is the same. The thrill of being a beginner wears off, and showing up becomes a choice, not a feeling. But growth happens when we push through — and the reward is always waiting on the other side.
At Toastmasters, we’re not just learning to speak — we’re learning to persevere, to grow, and to keep showing up, together.
One step at a time, but still moving forward.
