About this Event
As part of Socks: The Art of Care and Repair, join TOAST for a Sashiko Repair workshop where you'll learn the art of reinforcing clothing with embroidered patches. Sashiko, meaning "little stabs" in Japanese, is a traditional technique for mending small holes or tears. In this 1 hour 30-minute workshop, a TOAST Repair specialist will guide you through the process, empowering you to repair your own garments with beautiful, functional designs. Should you have any items with small holes or in need of repair, please bring them with you, or practice using the materials provided.
