Toales Live Venue’s Battle of the Bands hits boiling point with its final heat on Friday 22nd May — the last shot at a place in the grand final, and there’s no room for holding back.Dundalk’s Ecstasy fire in with sharp, hook-driven indie rock, a tight four-piece built for instant impact and crowd reaction. They’re joined by Silhouette, the east coast alt-rock outfit turning heads with high-energy live shows, fusing post-punk urgency with ‘90s indie grit.
Dublin’s Night Blind Knights bring a heavier edge, channelling the raw power of Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Nirvana and Kerbdog, with unexpected flashes of ska, reggae and blues woven through their sound.
Completing the lineup, Dundalk newcomers Aergia go straight for the jugular — a no-frills three-piece delivering loud, direct, in-your-face rock.
One heat. One winner. Musicianship, stage presence, originality — and the crowd — will decide who grabs the final spot. Doors are at 8PM sharp and admission is ONLY €5 with ALL profits going to The North Louth Hospice
