Get ready for a day of festive fun, surprises, and shopping! We’re excited to invite you to our Toads & Treasures Hunt happening all day on Friday, April 3rd, 2026, in Downtown Bastrop!
This family-friendly event is the perfect way to explore local shops, delight little ones, and treat yourself along the way!
How it works for kids:
- Keep your eyes peeled for a hidden toad (a mini frog in bunny ears!) tucked somewhere in a participating store.
- Spot it (no touching!)
- Tell a staff member where it is
- Earn a prize egg filled with a fun surprise!
How it works for adults:
- Shoppers, we didn’t forget about you! Simply make a purchase at a participating business to be eligible to select a special egg filled with discounts & store-selected goodies!
The hunt begins when our downtown businesses open and continues through their regular business hours. And if there are any eggs left, the fun may even continue into Saturday!
