FISHING4COMPLIMENTS are a Huddersfield-based indie-folk band who have been bringing their quirky, uplifting sounds to live music venues, pubs and festivals across the North of England and beyond for over a decade.
Their debut album ‘Off The Isle of Somewhere,’ produced by The Dunwells was warmly received by reviewers with descriptions of their music including words such as; upbeat, optimistic, joyful, bright and breezy and irresistible” with a clear common thread of defining the band’s songs as catchy, hook-laden folk-pop. Their return visit to HEART comes ahead of the release of their second album which they can’t wait to share with the world later this year.

LAZY GIRLFRIEND is a new, experimental, original song trio formed through friendship featuring Ashely and Eileen from Fishing4Compliments alongside fellow songwriter Jo Nettleton of the former Weave-the band. This harmony focused acoustic outfit is driven by keeping one another's songs alive and a shared passion for original song writing.
