Local Honeymoon is an indie rock band from South Philadelphia that plays catchy, punk-tinged songs about attempting to age gracefully without the material comforts of past generations. Although their songs are heartfelt and sincere, their live shows embrace a tongue-in-cheek Jimmy Buffett aesthetic, where band and audience alike dress up in Hawaiian shirts to sing along to songs about heartbreak and the miserable state of the world.
