Join the City of Ocala on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Tire Waste Amnesty Day.City staff will be set up at the Hampton Aquatic Center located at 255 NW Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., and on the southwest corner of NE Eighth Ave. and NE 14th St. to collect tires for disposal.
Residents can bring up to ten tires. You may be asked to present a driver’s license with a city address. Tires from businesses will not be accepted.
