Tiny Ceramic CreaturesInstructor: Nina Klein

3-Part Workshop
Learn how to make itsy bitsy sculptural work for pendants, decoration, and more! We’ll focus on techniques of working small (1/2 to 2 inch) figures, both for realistic and imaginary creatures. This class includes two instructor-led sessions: one for sculpting and one for decorating the bisque-fired pieces, along with an optional open studio day in between. Students will be notified once their pieces are ready to be picked up (3-4 weeks after class). Register for this class over the one-day Tiny Ceramic Creatures class if you want to make more than 5 creatures or want to glaze your own work.
Age 16+
Skill Level: Beginner-Intermediate. Students should have some prior experience with clay and be comfortable working independently.
Member Rate: $130
Non-Member Rate: $155
Material Fee: $10 (Paid directly to instructor. Includes up to 5 lbs of clay, use of underglazes, high fire wire, and studio glazes and firing)

About the Instructor
Nina graduated with a BA in Visual Art from Emory University and has been working as a professional artist and designer since 2018. Her work spans a variety of mediums including basketry, metalworking, wood burning, painting, digital art, and more with her current professional work focused on ceramics.
