About this Event
Tinker Time is the STEM Action Center's weekly unstructured makerspace opportunity. If you have a personal project to work on, the STEM Action Center has the equipment to help you achieve your goals. STEM Action Center staff and volunteers are available to help you log into software and ensure safe use of the machines, but the intention of Tinker Time is to allow personal exploration and discovery; STEM AC staff are not responsible for idea generation for projects or behavior management of participants.
Participants must be 12 years or older to attend Tinker Time independently. Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Adults must be aware that they are responsible for all students younger than 12 throughout the duration of their Tinker Time experience. If adequate supervision of students in a party is not observed, attendees may be asked to leave.
If you are interested in learning a specific skill in a structured format (like 3D printing, laser cutting, milling, etc.) check out our other events on Eventbrite or talk to a STEM Action Center staff.
