Timothy Mullins is a flutist hailing from his hometown of Wyandotte, Michigan. He is a first-year Doctor of Musical Arts student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and serves as a teaching assistant in the Theory program. He received a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from Eastern Michigan University in 2018 and a Master of Music in Flute Performance from Ithaca College in 2020. As a performer, Timothy was a select winner of the National Flute Association Convention Performers Competition and won third place in the Ervin Monroe Young Artist Competition.
He has performed in masterclasses for notable flutists such as Suyeon Ko, Brandon Patrick George, Sharon Sparrow, and Katherine Hoover. Timothy has taught college flute courses as part of his flute Teaching Assistantship at Ithaca College and has been teaching privately to students from third grade to retired across three states for almost a decade. His primary teachers are Dr. Conor Nelson, Dr. Wendy Herbener Mehne, Dr. Julie Stone, Jeff Zook, Amanda Blaikie, and Brandon LePage.
