After writing dozens of songs, performing hundreds of sold out gigs, igniting various multiplatinum anthems, and receiving two GRAMMY® Award nominations with Plain White T’s, Tim Lopez uncovers another side of himself as Timothy Howls. The Santa Barbara-born and Austin-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer found new inspiration outside of the framework of Plain White T’s. He simply hunkered down solo, penned songs, and invited some friends along for the ride. Without any expectations, he wrote tunes straight from the heart in search of “a classic sound” inspired by “all-time favorites” such as Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Jeff Lynne, Traveling Wilburys, and Elliott Smith.
