Air sensing sound.
Separating lightning strike and expanding thunder.
Timing the Thunder is a somatic performance exploring potential through sound, breath, attention, and shared presence.
Two performers in the practice of “reading the air”, sensing shifting architectures of energy, resonance, timing, and relation.
Through movement, stillness, listening, and the primary hollow primitive instrument – the flute, the body itself becomes resonant space.

Performers and witnesses create a temporary field of attention,
a resonant body shaped through sound, breath, movement, and time.
An invitation into deep listening and shared space.
No fixed meaning, only attunement.
Only presence.

Joe Tornabene is an award-winning international musician/multimedia artist, stage and film actor, sound designer, composer and sound therapist. He has taught experimental workshops on the relationships between performance, physical embodiment, movement, voice, sound, music and spontaneous creation at seven universities in four countries, at six major international theatre and dance festivals and at numerous theatres, theatre academies and studios in 11 countries. International journals have published interviews and articles about his work in four languages. In 2023 he produced, directed and performed in The Blind Crow Project at M54. Anna Tzakou is a performer, theatre maker, landscape performance artist, and practice-based researcher. Her work explores spatial and landscape epistemologies through contemporary performance and mindfulness. In 2012, she founded Geopoetics, creating site-specific walking performances in urban and rural environments. Το Timing the Thunder είναι μια somatic performance που εξερευνά το δυναμικό του ήχου, της αναπνοής, της προσοχής και της κοινής παρουσίας.
Δύο performers στην πρακτική της «ανάγνωσης του αέρα», ανιχνεύοντας μεταβαλλόμενες αρχιτεκτονικές ενέργειας, συντονισμού, χρονικότητας και σχέσης.
Μέσα από την κίνηση, την ακινησία, την ακρόαση και το φλάουτο — ένα αρχέγονο όργανο αέρα και αναπνοής — το ίδιο το σώμα γίνεται χώρος συντονισμού.

Ερμηνευτές και θεατές-μάρτυρες δημιουργούν ένα προσωρινό πεδίο προσοχής,
ένα ηχητικό σώμα διαμορφωμένο από ήχο, αναπνοή, κίνηση και χρόνο.

Ο Τζο Τορναμπένε είναι βραβευμένος διεθνής μουσικός/πολυμέσων, ηθοποιός σε σκηνή και κινηματογράφο, σχεδιαστής ήχου, συνθέτης και θεραπευτής ήχου. Έχει διδάξει πειραματικά εργαστήρια που αφορούν τις σχέσεις της παράστασης, της σωματικής ενσάρκωσης, της κίνησης, της φωνής, του ήχου, της μουσικής και της αυθόρμητης δημιουργίας σε επτά πανεπιστήμια σε τέσσερις χώρες, σε έξι μεγάλα διεθνή φεστιβάλ θεάτρου και χορού και σε πολλά θέατρα, ακαδημίες θεάτρου και στούντιο σε 11 χώρες. Διεθνή περιοδικά έχουν δημοσιεύσει συνεντεύξεις και άρθρα σχετικά με το έργο του σε τέσσερις γλώσσες. Πρόσφατα έκανε την παραγωγή, τη σκηνοθεσία και την ερμηνεία του στο The Blind Crow Project στο M54. Η Άννα Τζάκου είναι performer, καλλιτέχνιδα θεάτρου και performance τοπίου και practice-based ερευνήτρια. Το έργο της εξερευνά τις χωρικές και τοπιακές επιστημολογίες μέσα από τις σύγχρονες παραστατικές τέχνες και τις πρακτικές ενσυνειδητότητας (mindfulness). Το 2012 ιδρύει την ομάδα Geopoetics, αναπτύσσοντας περιπατητικές, site-specific performances σε αστικά και αγροτικά περιβάλλοντα.
