About this Event
Summer is a fiery & fertile time of year, full of possibility & passion. Our 'Time to Bloom' Day retreat works alongside these big energies to help us step into our power, and all that is available to us.
Our morning will start in the quiet, stillness as Katie, our lead yoga teacher will guide you to tune in to listen to our hearts & our true passions before setting our intentions for the day to come.
We'll awaken slowly moving through a Yin to Yang practice before a Vegan Brunch to gear us up for our walk in nature.
Our walk takes us through the rural Hoghton loop from the studio with a stop to immerse ourselves in nature's song & releasing Circle.
We'll return to the studio for a warming vegan lunch followed by our afternoon Yin & Restorative practice, allowing ourselves to feel nourished & restored. We'll close our day with a closing circle to integrate our intentions from the day.
Day Itinerary
9am | Meditation & Journal Session
9.30pm | Traditional Chinese Medicine Inspired Yang Yoga
10.30am | Refreshments
11am | Local Walk embracing nature & Sensory Meditation/Cleansing mid walk max 2hrs (4 miles)
1pm | Plant Based Lunch
1.30pm | Traditinal Chinese Medicine Inspired Yin Yoga
2.30pm | Sound Bath
3.30pm | Closing Circle & Cacao
4pm | Departure
All practices throughout the day are suitable for all those with relatively good movement & beginners are welcome, the walk is mostly flat with a couple steep hills & can be muddy at times. Please note that livestock will be around in the areas of our walks.
Katie Winder is an accredited Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher who will be guiding you throughout your day.
