演出介紹：
來自德國的音樂家 Tim Scheicker 將在台灣展開為期一星期的巡迴演出，這次 Tim 將帶來多首創作曲目，把歐洲音樂的語彙與能量，與台灣音樂家進行結合，進行一場跨越文化的爵士饗宴。
這次的演出將以 Tim Scheicker 的全新系列為主，他將這些作品稱之為「New German Swing」，這種風格所全是的並非只是回歸經典的搖擺音樂，而是透過當代歐洲音樂的視角重新詮釋，在保持 Swing Feel 的彈跳外更帶來更細膩、豐富的和聲編曲。Tim 的創作除了已吉他聲響外，也包含其具有旋律感的 Vocal 聲線，為演出豐富度創造更多細膩的聲響。
巡迴時間為 6/23-6/28，在台北、台中、台南、高雄一共演出六場，並根據場地風格帶來不同的編制，並與台灣不同地區的樂手進行互動，推薦給所有喜愛爵士、搖擺的觀眾，加入這場難得一見的歐洲 Old School Jazz 風格演出。其中 6/24 在 Sappho 的演出也會作為 Blues Jam Host，歡迎喜愛藍調音樂的舞者以及樂手可以一同玩音樂。
《Tim Schicker and his Killin’ Jivers》
☆German musician Tim Schicker will embark on a one-week tour across Taiwan, presenting a collection of original compositions that blend the language and energy of European music with the talents of Taiwanese musicians, creating a cross-cultural jazz experience.
This tour will feature Tim Schicker’s newest musical concept, which he describes as “New German Swing.” Rather than simply revisiting classic swing music, this style reinterprets the tradition through a contemporary European perspective — preserving the bouncing swing feel while introducing more refined and colorful harmonic arrangements. In addition to his distinctive guitar sound, Tim’s melodic vocal style adds further depth and subtle textures to the performances.
The tour will take place from June 23rd to June 28th, with six performances across Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung. Each venue will feature different ensemble formats and collaborations with local musicians from different regions of Taiwan.
Highly recommended for jazz and swing lovers alike, this is a rare opportunity to experience an authentic European old-school jazz spirit with a fresh contemporary touch. The June 24th performance at Sappho will also serve as the Blues Jam Host night, welcoming blues lovers, dancers, and musicians to join the music and jam together.
