Dear BCP teams, Here’s time-sensitive information about a revamped, fabulous dragon boat festival, the Tim Hortons GWN Dragon Boat Challenge on Lake Ontario in Toronto. New this year, Dragons Abreast, one of the first BCP teams ever (27th anniversary), is hosting the BCP Village. This is a first for us and we’re hoping you’ll register your team and help make the festival an extraordinary one!
One wonderful change for this year's festival is that BCP racing will only take place on one day (September 7th) of the two-day festival, thereby reducing registration fees for BCP teams and the need to pay for overnight accommodations. Early bird registration fees are available until March 31st for $1095 plus HST at this link: https://mldb.gwnevents.com/challenge
The BCP Village is located on prime real estate at the entrance to the Athletes’ Village. BCP teams, family and supporters can use the area as their home base during the festival. Each BCP
team will receive a footprint (tent rentals are available) in the Village to watch all the races. Complimentary breakfast is provided for all BCP participants by Tim Hortons. While enjoying a
light meal before the racing begins, participants share stories, reconnect with past teammates and create the lifelong bonds that are so strong between BCP teams. We would love to see you there! If you aren't a paddler, come on down and join the fun!

And don’t forget to visit the Pink Porta-Potty while at the festival! It will be nicely decorated, always fresh smelling, and stocked with many conveniences not found in the regular ones. Your Porta-Potty visit will be worth the toonie!
