THEMZ¥In the vibrant heart of the mid north coasts music scene Themzy rises as a dynamic force, captivating audiences with their playful onstage antics and original mix of bass driven beats.
Friends since childhood, the two share a long term love of music that influences their unique selection of rumbling heavy bass lines, injections of nostalgia, booty bass moments and a cheeky remix or two. From Bass house, to trap, halftime and dubstep, the pair are always on the hunt for the sexiest, dirtiest bass around.
Joining the Architect records family in 2024 THEMZY are proud am-BASS-adors and the shinning gold tooth in the Architect Dj Roster Grill.
Well Known for their energy and ability to get any crowd moving, the two have graced the stages of some of the most esteemed events on Australia’s east coast, including Splendour in the Grass, Earth Frequency, Rabbits Eat lettuce and Bohemian beatfreaks.
As well as supporting the likes of Moodswing Chevy Bass, Father Funk, Koan sound and The Sponges. Themzy are also founding members and event organisers for the Mid North Coasts hottest female focused collective, The Clitoverse.
TIJUANA CARTEL
Playing some new tunes from upcoming release, but not forgetting the crowd favourites, Tijuana Cartel fuse hypnotic electronica with flamenco guitar, Middle Eastern grooves, and trumpet lines from another dimension —crafting a genre-defying sound that’s unmistakably their own. Based in the Byron Bay region, the band is driven by guitarist Paul George and producer/keyboardist Carey O’Sullivan, with percussionist Sheila Finke and Trumpet player Tristan Rogers.
Drawing from a diverse range of genre influences—from melodic tech and organic house to punchy midtempo and broken beat—their sound incorporates bass, layered soundscapes, rolling percussion, live horn, and, of course, that guitar. Longtime festival favourites in Australia and abroad, they’ve built a loyal following with sets that feel equally at home on the big stage or at boutique gatherings.
