While multi-instrumentalist Micah Bracken is best known for his decade-plus long contribution to Joe Hertler & the Rainbow Seekers, his love for songwriting has persisted throughout his life. Drawing inspiration from dreams and the blur of half-remembered moments, he crafts songs that linger in the space between what happened and what we wish had. Bud is the debut full-length album from songwriter Adam Marth, a collection of dreamy indie rock and pop songs shaped by influences across a spectrum of genres, and brought to life through deeply personal songwriting. Bud was recorded in Marth’s home, and in the homes of his collaborators. For this release show, Marth presents the music under his own name, stepping forward after years in the Michigan music scene performing extensively with projects including Normal Mode, The All American Funk Parade, Kait Rose’s Fleetwood Mac Tribute, and Paddlebots.
