Glenorchy Herbs and Healing will be holding a Herbalism Workshop on Thyme at the Sherwood on the 19th October (Sunday 10 am -12.30). This is the first of the "6 herbs in 6 months" series but you can come to just this workshop if that suits you best. In the week before the workshop we will be foraging for thyme and should have plenty of fresh herb for people to play with on the day. You will learn the basics of thyme herbalism; its folklore and history, chemistry and the unique properties that make thyme so valuable medicinally. And you will experience the magic of thyme by actually working with the herb yourself to make remedies that you can take home for friends and family. Come and join our growing group of herbal enthusiasts so that we can enjoy this event together.
