"Thursday nights" and all sketchers from the Chicago area, including our neighbors, West Michigan and Racine chapters.....I'm excited to announce our return to the Burnham Park Yacht Club to sketch on Thursday, September 11th from 4:30-8:00pm. This meetup is special because your sketches will be exhibited in an Exhibition in the Spring of 2026!
We had so much success with last April's Exhibition that James and the Club have asked us back!
The first step is to have this meetup at the Club to create our work, whether it's a sketch or a plein air painting. Your work will be part of an Exhibition in the Spring of 2026 (details to come later, please hold your questions)
Like last year, there will be parking in the lot and I will post the code here. Also there will be an opportunity for all to eat and drink on meetup day. If you have any questions about the day, ask them in the discussions thread.
