Bohemian Live Music Presents Thursday Night Live featuring Palmyra with Frail TalkPalmyra: Established in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, Palmyra captures the collective spirit of three Virginia natives: Teddy Chipouras, Mānoa Bell, and Sasha Landon.
Palmyra straddles at least two musical worlds. They are, on one hand, a band from the South that plays traditional instruments and indeed once lived in the old-time locus of Floyd, Virginia. Comparisons to and a kinship with The Avett Brothers and even Old Crow Medicine Show are inevitable. On the other hand, Palmyra writes about grief, gender dysphoria and identity, and coming of age in songs that flirt with soul, post-rock, and even emo; the South, too, is the place of My Morning Jacket, Band of Horses, Cat Power, and now, Palmyra.
Frail Talk: Formed in the foothills of Northern Colorado, Frail Talk creates a blooming universe of squiggly indie music for squiggly people. Like the kind surprise of a backyard garden, their songs spring up from the dirt with folk roots, soft pop colors, and burgeoning lyricism ready to welcome every listener with daydream-love.

This year’s TNL series has 16 weekly concerts and is designed to showcase a diverse lineup of music from Colorado and beyond. The community is invited to an incredible display of artist discovery with musical offerings of many genres and styles. These concerts offer emerging and established artists the opportunity to share live music and connect with our Northern Colorado community.
The series will be held on the outdoor stage in Fort Collins’ Old Town Square and will take place every Thursday at 7 PM. These performances are free and open to the public.
