has become one of the most recognizable acts within the Kansas City music scene. This 7-piece instrumental fusion group has shared the stage with Snarky Puppy, The Bad Plus, The Rebirth Brass Band, Here Come the Mummies and the Mark Lettieri Trio. Their relatable brand of crossover jazz has landed them spots at regional festivals such as The Middle of the Map Festival, Boulevardia, Plaza Art Fair, Porchfest and the Prairie Village Jazz Festival. The Project H also played opening day and playoff games for the Kansas City Royals, as well as the opening of the Streetcar in Kansas City. They have travelled to Austin, Texas to take part in Nextbop’s “Jazz for the Masses” party, as well as the Midcoast Takeover the last two of the last three years. In 2014, The Project H won the Pitch Music Award for "Best Jazz Ensemble.” Their record, “We Live Among the Lines” was named the second best Kansas City release of any genre by The Deli magazine in 2014. Their fourth record of original music, “Everyday, Forever,” reached #7 on iTunes in 2018.
