Learn how to make your own Christmas willow wreath from British grown willow or make a Scandi style ladder Christmas tree from Britsh willow sticks and Scottish Nutscene string at Cove Burgh Hall, Shore Road, Cove G84 0LY
Join me for a fun and relaxed informal evening of Christmas crafting!
What's on offer?
Make one large willow wreath including decoration
OR one large (110cm) ladder tree
Soft drinks and grazing table buffet
Selection of Christmas crafts to buy
Wreath Option
Weave a willow wreath and decorate it with a mixture of natural items and some colourful reusable additions, you can make your decoration as simple or as elaborate as you like. You will be able to remove the decorations and add some Christmas sparkle to your wreath for many years to come. Once Spring arrives, add something bright and colourful to your wonderful willow wreath and dust it off in Autumn too.
Willow wreaths can be displayed indoors or out. The natural decorations will last well if displayed outdoors. The willow provided is grown in Somerset and will have been soaked for 6 days. The foliage used will be from my garden and foraged from the local area, so it's really an eco friendly option.
Ladder Tree Option
This year there is an option to make a Christmas Ladder tree instead of a willow wreath. The tree is made from pre cut British willow sticks, tied with Nutscene jute twine and decorated with a selection of real pine cones, wooden shapes, coloured baubles and ribbon. There will be a choice of colour themed items to match your home. A ladder tree is perfect for smaller spaces or as an additional tree around your home. Great as they are, even better with fairy lights added!
