Thunder and Rain is a four-piece new grass band from Nashville, Tennessee. Touring and recording since 2014, the band delivers high-energy performances full of melodic hooks and grassy drive. Founding member Erinn Peet-Lukes (guitar, vocals) is joined by Amelia Ransom (fiddle) and Laura Ray (banjo), with Maddie Dalton featured on bass. Their sound combines bluegrass instrumentation with pop and rock song structures, rich three-part harmony, and skillful picking. Peet-Lukes has earned national recognition for her songwriting at Kerrville Folk Fest, Merlefest,
and the IBMA Songwriter Showcase.
