Thugshop’s ØGravity Presents – Sasha [Last Night On Earth/Anjunadeep]

Flight controls on the 7th of March at MDLR are in the hands of none other than Sasha.

Widely regarded as a pioneering figure of the British scene, the Welsh DJ, producer, and label head’s journey began over 3 decades ago. Sasha’s sound in the early '90s thrusted progressive house into the global spotlight, propelled by seminal mixes like ‘Renaissance: The Mix Collection’ and the ‘Northern Exposure’ series with John Digweed.

Crowned the world’s number 1 DJ by DJ Mag at the turn of the millennium, Sasha has remained a titan of the scene ever since. He’s still at it today, headlining iconic rooms like Berlin’s Watergate, Sao Paulo’s D-EDGE, and New York’s Brooklyn Mirage.

A prolific producer in every sense of the word, he has released projects on esteemed labels like Anjunadeep, Kompakt, and his own imprint, Last Night On Earth. Beyond the electronic realm, Sasha also composed an original score for the immersive Da Vinci exhibition, entitled ‘Genius: The Score’.

Thugshop’s EJ takes on co-pilot duties for the night, warming up our upsized floor before Sasha enters the cockpit.
