Throwing Muses - one of the most acclaimed and beloved US indie bands - will perform two New Zealand shows in December.The band's first NZ tour in 31 years features concerts at San Fran, Wellington on 9 December, and Double Whammy in Auckland on 10 December.
Formed by Kristin Hersh with high school friends, the band pioneered a new alternative sound, releasing a string of critically celebrated albums and touring the world.
Throwing Muses - featuring Kristin Hersh, David Narcizo and Bernard Georges - recently released new album ‘Moonlight Concessions’ which has been described by Pitchfork Magazine as: “A stunning return to form”.
