The "Through Their Eyes" Mother-Daughter Showcase, which features our Collaborative Partnership Fair hosted by From Me 2 U, uniquely celebrates creativity, connection, and community impact. This special event will feature artwork created by mother-daughter pairs and other participants using the Chuck Close technique. This grid-based portraiture approach emphasizes close observation and meticulous craftsmanship. Each piece visually represents the participants' journey, reflecting the deep bond between mothers and daughters and the powerful stories behind their relationships.
This event offers youth organizations the chance to showcase their students' talents, connect with community leaders and members, and explore partnership opportunities. Highlights include collaborative fair booths, a youth work showcase, networking with fellow organizations, guest speakers sharing success stories, and fundraising support. It's a unique opportunity to promote youth organizations, showcase student achievements, foster collaborations that empower the next generation, and invite parents to positive resources to support their families. Limited spots are available, so reserve your booth early!
This event also allows families to engage in hands-on interactions with your serving organizations and potentially enroll their children in an after-school/ out-of-school time program, as some organizations offer weekend programming.
There is free parking behind Daves, CVS, and in front of the building.
