Artists! Do you have ART or ART SUPPLIES that you'd like clear out? Would you prefer to send it to a good home? Now's your chance! Here are the basics:
1. To participate, you should register for a table here: https://forms.gle/d3VtNE2Adu6qWdZP8
If you don't have that much stuff, then find a friend to share!
2. The idea is to trade/barter with your fellow artists with art or art supplies.
3. Money is allowed but not inside the CMA Community Arts Center. Most tables will be in the Pivot Center lobby, so you are welcome to exchange money there.
4. Unlike most clothing swaps, you will be responsible for leaving with any of your leftovers. You might want to plan a yart sale for the day after, so that you don't have to put the stuff back in your studio.
5. FREE to participate.
6. Trading will mostly be set up as a free-for-all, but I'll likely have a few helpful/optional things like "Be Right Back" signs to put on your table when you step away and forms to use for trade offers.
7. You might have something intangible to trade for something you see! Example: You could offer a free yoga session for a pack of oil pastels. Or you could take a commission as payment for a work of art. Be creative! We're artists!
8. Non-artists are welcome to attend and make offers but the "stuff" should be anything you deem "art" or "art supplies". You can decide what that means to you. Baby doll heads? Power tools? Go for it.
