Through the window; live drawing perspectives with local artists and local businesses.
Summer drawing contest! Free and open to artists of all skill levels and ages in the tri-state.
Build your skills, portfolio, or your real life social network by connecting with artists and businesses in Old Central City.
Come sit inside of participating businesses and draw/paint from life. Artists will utilize inside elements as still life subjects, look out windows for a street scene or brave the elements & sit in any public space to capture architecture, landscape elements, etc.
Winners would have thier originals matted & framed with prints & digital copies.
1st Place: framed original, postcard set & digital copy.
2nd Place: matted original, postcard set & digital copy.
3rd Place: matted original & digital copy.
There will be different categories depending on participants with an
exhibit featuring the winners in the fall.
Register day of event by signing in at noon & dropping off art work by 4pm at The Frame Station. All works must be completed from noon to 4 on the day of event. Bring-your-own-chair, all needed supplies and set up respectfully in any
participating shop along 14th St. West.
*Basic art supplies are available if needed upon request at no cost.
