Van Buren School District elementary students are taking a creative trip Through the Decades!The third annual Elementary Art Show will feature more than 2,200 pieces of student artwork from every elementary campus. From bold paintings and detailed drawings to imaginative three dimensional sculptures inspired by different eras, the gallery will be filled with color, creativity, and personality.
This year’s theme invited students to explore how art reflects the time and culture around it. Rather than focusing on a single artist, students connected visual art skills with history and storytelling, creating pieces that represent different decades in unique ways.
