About this Event
This session provides the power of education and self-advocacy to deal with stressors that Black birthing women, and their partners and babies, face that are not dealt with in traditional models of prenatal or postpartum care.
Stress factors such as the environment, racism, relationships, finances, and more are intentionally addressed to provide you and your family with the knowledge, tools, and practices to thrive in pregnancy.
We’ll talk about how recognizing and addressing these facets of life can promote wellness, strengthen families, and create supportive environments for women who are either pregnant, or planning to be for the first time or planning for their next child.
