About this Event
Join THRESHOLDS: A Monthly Poetry Gathering!
Come hang out in person with fellow poetry lovers at THRESHOLDS, our chill monthly meetup where words flow and the herbal tea is piping hot. Whether you're a newbie, seasoned poet, or just love listening, this is your space to share, connect, and get inspired. Grab your notebook and join us for an evening full of creativity and good company. Sharing is completely optional.
Author, Editor, & Publisher, Kelly Miller brings her passion for the written word and her editorial insight right here to Watertown. Get a 90-minute workshop, all about line, line breaks, enjambment, and why this is one of the most important tools you can utilize as a poet. The workshop is discussion oriented, and she brings with her beloved local poets Dana Gillan and Alesa Bernat to gain their insight as well.
Plus, there will be an hour of open-mic time to follow the workshop!
You can also expect to hear from Sound Practioner Destiny Mryrick from WildRoots Wellness & Revival. The sound bath is a great way to practice observation of thoughts and self, as well as tab into that subconsious creative space.
Come look at the amazing art hanging on the walls of Phi Gallery and support your local creative spaces.
