About this Event
A three-straw twisted lei is created byweaving yarn around three straws to form a, often, 24- to 30-inch long, fluffy, and full-looking, but lightweight lei. Using bubble tea/smoothie straws, grosgrain ribbon, and fuzzy or eyelash yarn, the technique involves tying yarn to the base of the straws and weaving figure-eights, pulling the resulting yarn down as it is created, and finally twisting or knotting to achieve the desired, often, 3D effect.
All supplies are inclueded in the class.
You may not beable to finish the Lei in the class, You will go home with the knowledge of how to finish and end it.
