About this Event
When their mother dies, three young women, strangers to one another, are suddenly reunited and confronted with a truth that reshapes their lives: they are sisters.
Written by acclaimed Peruvian playwright Mariana de Althaus, this powerful piece delves into the weight of family secrets, the complexities of motherhood, and the difficult, tender journey toward healing.
This staged reading is a project created and led by Latina women, bringing to the stage a Peruvian work, directed by a Peruvian creative team, and performed by a Latino cast. Produced by The Bravas Theater and Film Co., the project is rooted in celebrating heritage and elevating Latin voices with honesty and cultural resonance.
